The 2024 Olympics have officially begun in Paris.

The Opening Ceremony will start at 1:30 PM ET on Friday and the ground-breaking event will have athletes arrive in boats via <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/07/23/sports/the-seine-river-is-a-potential-olympics-disaster-its-insane/">the controversial Seine River.</a>

By the end of the ceremony, the Olympic flame will be lit.
