


A 24-year-old driver crashed into a parked truck in the Bronx early Sunday morning, killing two of his passengers, police said.
The driver, who has not been identified, slammed his white Chrysler 300 into a large, red truck parked near the intersection of Bryant and Viele Avenues at around 3:28 a.m.
A 21-year-old man in the front passenger seat and an unidentified woman sitting in the back were rushed to Lincoln Hospital, wbut both succumbed to their injuries, New York City police said.
Another woman seated in the back was also injured and transported to the St. Barnabas Hospital, officials added.
The driver was taken to Harlem Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. The truck involved in the crash was unoccupied at the time of the crash, police said.
Images of the aftermath show the Chrysler completely wrecked by the crash, with the truck visibly damaged on its front hood and bumper.
No arrests have been made yet, and police are still investigating the crash to determine if the driver will face any charges.
