Police are hunting for a man who brutally raped a 17-year-old girl in the Bronx in a brazen daytime attack after the two met on a dating app.

On Monday at around 11:30 a.m., the teenager was entering a building near Rosedale and Watson avenues in Soundview when she was confronted by the man, police said.

The girl had gone to that location to meet with someone she had first connected with on a dating app, a police source told The Post.

Instead she was confronted by the suspect, who “pushed her into a room, punched her in the face then proceeded to rape her,” according to a statement from the NYPD.

After the assault, the perp took off running, heading southbound along Rosedale Avenue.

The 17-year-old victim was taken by paramedics to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacob in stable condition.

The accused rapist was described as a man between 20 and 30 years old, about 5’10” tall, with a medium build. He has a dark complexion with acne scarring on his face and a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts with a white stripe.

A surveillance photo released by the police also showed the alleged perp wearing a pair of gray-and-white sneakers.
