An 11-car pileup in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon hurt 15 people and sent three to the hospital with serious injuries — but all were expected to survive, officials told The Post.
A van was traveling south on Bushwick Ave when it began smashing into cars near Noll Street at about 2:30 p.m. — causing a chain reaction of crashes, according to ABC 7.
The van kept on driving and hit other vehicles on both sides of the street, the network said.
The van was nearly demolished, with damage to both sides and its front tires, which were blown out, ABC said.
Authorities did not immediately release much information about the crashes, which happened near 535 Bushwick Avenue.
It wasn’t clear on Monday evening whether the driver was impaired.
Twelve people had minor injuries and were brought to the hospital, the FDNY told The Post.
The three who were seriously hurt were brought to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center on Stockholm Street.
