Grab yourselves a peach and start blasting “False God,” people. We’re gathered here today to get all hot and bothered over the sexiest The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 scenes for what feels like the trillionth time this summer.
The third and final season of Prime Video‘s beloved brother love triangle drama, based on Jenny Han’s best-selling book series, is six episodes deep and let me just say, DAYUM. The yearning? The swoon-worthy scenes? The palpable sexual tension? The unsavory thoughts this fandom has collectively has on a weekly basis?! The limit does not exist! Some might say, they’re INFINITE!
With more than half of TSITP Season 3 in the rearview mirror and five highly-anticipated episodes ahead, we figured it’s a perfect time to look back at the sexy, sweltering, steamy highs before Belly (Lola Tung) does or does not get married. Who’s to say!
While there have certainly been sweet and sexy Season 3 moments shared between Belly and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Taylor (Rain Spencer) and Steven (Sean Kaufman), my criteria for this specific list was simple. I thought back on scenes that gave me goosebumps, made me long to text an old crush against my better judgement, or called this iconic scene from The Office to mind. Sorry to the above couples and Conrad (Christopher Briney) haters, but 10 Connie-centric scenes made the cut.

Photo: Prime Video I don’t care what anyone says: Conrad Beck Fisher has never been hotter than he is in Season 3, because he goes to therapy! on his own! for personal growth! and to learn healthy coping mechanisms for dealing with anxiety, grief, and panic attacks! *SWOON* Fellas, take notes! Emotional intelligence? Hot. When we first see Conrad in Season 3’s premiere, he’s strutting down the halls of Stanford to “Can’t Stop” by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Hot! He’s playing football again! Hot! He’s smiling! Hot! And he’s being studious! Hot! Instead of another season spent brooding and shutting people out, he’s actively trying to better himself, opening up to a college bestie named Agnes (Zoé De Grand’Maison), and enjoying life more as a result. We love that for him. Therapy?! This is 100% your look, Connie Baby!

Photo: Prime Video Speaking of Conrad in therapy, look at those rolled up sleeves! Those forearms! And the underrated star of TSITP Season 3: his Slutty Little Watch! TSITP costume designer really said, we’re giving Husband Material this year. Whether Conrad is filling out a crossword puzzle, washing and drying the dishes, palming a bowl, hugging Belly, or seductively removing his SLW to wash his hands, you can find me feeling weak in the knees. No, like, I’m down bad for that vintage Omega Constellation. (Reportedly called The Connie by collectors!) If I went to the gym, surely I’d be crying over that analog watch, those rolled up sleeves, and that arm hair. Accessories of the summer! Jenny Han, thank you for your service! And, fellas, if you’re still with me, roll your sleeves up and keep taking notes!

What’s sexier than getting cozy with your biggest crush of all time around the holidays? After watching Episode 302’s Christmas flashback scene, which showed Belly and Conrad spending wintery days at the beach house together doing Married Things as Sufjan Stevens’ “Mystery of Love” played, we can’t think of too many alternatives! The moment in time was magical and electric, but shoutout to Conrad picking Belly off the floor and making them look like newlyweds! One ticket to Swoon City!

Photo: Prime Video The absolute sex appeal a man needs to have in order for me to be like, “Wow, HOT!” mid-sobbing to Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” is astronomical, but in Season 3, Episode 4, Conrad proves he has what it takes. As the emotional song plays and Belly sobs alone in her bed at the beach house, Conrad — suitcase in hand — walks down the hall ready to leave. He intends to say goodbye to Belly, but when he hears her crying, walks to her door, and longingly looks on as she breaks down, he knows he has to stay. He can’t go in and comfort her, so he gently touches the door and leans his head against the wall, before heading downstairs to show support in other ways. And in those moments, I swear my yearning was infinite.

As you can tell, Episode 304 was jam-packed with crush-worthy Conrad moments. But the final scene? More delicious than Dirt Bombs! Believe me when I say I full-on gasped at the unexpected shift to Conrad’s point of view. As Connie Baby and Belly hugged after a RIDICULOUSLY (IYKYK) sweet moment in the kitchen, a Chris Briney voiceover asked, “What have I done?” and the end credits rolled. Not to mention, Billie Eilish’s “Halley’s Comet” (and its on-point lyrics) perfectly set the mood for one of Season 3’s most swoon-worthy scenes.

Photo: Prime Video We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: The Notebook. Whether they were intentional or not, fans have drawn numerous parallels between TSITP and the 2004 rom-com starring Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, and James Marsden. Here are a few, but Episode 305 kicked things up a notch with Conrad FIXING THE ROOF like Noah and wearing a white t-shirt and khaki pants, which Noah in the “IF YOU’RE A BIRD, I’M A BIRD” scene. Help?! HOT?!

Photo: Prime Video The hottest club this summer? The fake flowers aisle at Michaels thanks to the palpable chemistry these two shared while talking hurricane vases, garlands, and perfect porch flowers. Slow motion sun-drenched scenes from Conrad’s POV? Royel Otis “Linger” cover? “For a second I forgot it’s not me who’s marrying her?” Fuck it! We’re flirting in Michaels.

Thanks to the highly-anticipated peach scene from the third book in The Summer I Turned Pretty series, Season 3, Episode 5 was extra juicy. While the book let us into Belly’s head, the series showed the moment from Conrad’s point of view and left everyone’s mouths watering. The camera angles. The lighting. The cinematography. The bug sounds in the background. The flies. The certified loverboy looks. The heavenly Han direction. Quite simply, she ATE. Decider dove deep into the sexy, spectacularly intimate stone fruit scene set to The Rolling Stone’s dreamy song,“Wild Horses,” and though some may find this scene mild in comparison, rumor has it Call Me By Your Name‘s peach scene is officially shaking.

Going into Episode 305, hopes were sky-high because fans knew it was Conrad’s POV and Jenny Han’s directorial debut, but we never dreamed we’d also get a jaw-dropping Belly and Conrad sex scene flashback! Conrad’s mind took us back four years to the last time he spent the night at Belly’s house. As he was reading J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in bed (he’s a geek!), Belly opened his door wearing one of her big bedtime shirts. After a meaningful conversation and a crucial Conrad voiceover, the two started kissing as Otis Redding’s “That’s How Strong My Love Is” swelled. Conrad’s hand brushed Belly’s hair, Belly got on top of him, and they made palpably intense eye contact. Conrad’s thumb grazed her lip, he bit it, and the two melted into a make-out session. Then, our boy moved his hand in between Belly’s legs, causing her to moan his name. She removed her shirt and Conrad’s lips worked their way up her bare chest to kiss her infinity necklace?! Pardon me, I’m SWEATING! Who’s making the “Directed by Jenny Han” hats?! If you’re looking for a detailed recap, we’ve got you covered!

Season 3, Episode 6 also nailed another highly-anticipated moment from the text: the surf injury/wound cleaning scene, which left viewers woozier than Belly and Conrad combined. After Belly returned to the beach house, Conrad limped inside after a gnarly surf accident left a major gash on his leg. Belly frantically searched for something to clean the wound, turned on the water, washed the blood off, and scooted closer to Conrad. He lowered his head, audibly panted, and leaned his wet hair on her shoulder as she wrapped the wound and attempted to lighten the mood, saying, “Don’t be such a baby. It’s barely even a scratch. See? All better.” As Belly’s hand lingered on the dressing, however, Conrad’s hair dripped onto her shirt. Audible heartbeats were heard, and in a breathtaking swirl of déjà vu, Taylor Swift’s “False God” started playing.
The tension between the exes is palpable this entire scene, but when “False God” swells, it’s impossible for viewers to fight off the same emotions from Season 1, Episode 4, when the same song played as these two almost kissed on the dock under July 4 fireworks. Not to mention, Belly’s heart figuratively stopped when “You’re Losing Me” played in the premiere, and now, with the sound of literal heartbeats, it restarts as Taylor Swift (and Belly’s feelings for Conrad) return.
As a glowing, painfully gorgeous Conrad looked up at Belly, his dreamy green eyes glistened in the sunlight. He thanked her, and the two let the silence between them linger seconds too long. Belly bit her lip, looked down at his, and he parted them to say her name, as he so often did. Instead of confessing his feelings, he asked her to help him up so he can take a nap. He leaned closer, and Belly VISIBLY considered going in for a kiss. Before she could act, he stood, grabbed her hand, then limped out of the bathroom. Once he left, Belly collapsed on the tub ledge, breathless once again. JOIN THE CLUB, GIRL! You can read our full deep dive into the scene here. And stay tuned for more yearing, longing, and sexual tension next week!
