Ravenous for a kitchen glow-up? Say hello to the savory duo: HelloFresh x Caraway—where 10 delicious meals meet the sleek, oh-so-luxurious non-stick pan that’ll make you want to cook with gas every night.

Some might joke that this collab was hand-crafted by the Post Wanted editors themselves. We can’t deny our longtime love affair with HelloFresh and Caraway, and honestly, no one’s more excited about this partnership than we are.

Use our HelloFresh promo code: NYPcaraway and snatch this limited-time steal before it burns away — your taste buds will demand encores, your pan will steal the spotlight, and your guests will be asking to be sent home with leftovers.

Known as the most popular meal kit in America, HelloFresh takes the guesswork out of cooking with its simple-to-follow recipes and fresh ingredients. Meal plans include Meat & Veggies, Veggie, Family Friendly, Under 20 Minutes, Fit & Wholesome, and Pescatarian. Select up to 6 recipes a week for two to six people, and then prepare to make meals so impressive, your guests will swear you went to a fancy culinary school. Membership can be paused or canceled at any time, so there’s really no reason not to give it a try — especially when you can score the coveted Caraway pan, too.

A favorite cookware brand of kitchen newbies and well-seasoned pros, the pan typically retails for $100+, but if you sign up with HelloFresh now, you can get it for free. In our opinion, that’s a tasty offer.

We’re no strangers to HelloFresh at the Post Wanted team. We’ve reviewed the meal kit delivery service numerous times and compared it against competitors — it’s never failed to impress.

Selecting recipes is easy and the options are ever changing and delicious. Obviously, we wanted to try the brand’s latest offerings out.

This testing round, our commerce deputy editor, Holly J Coley, took on the HelloFresh Sesame Chili Beef Tenderloin to push her cooking boundaries. “It’s been a hot minute since I’ve made something more complex than salad in a bag, but I was excited to learn a new recipe (and hopefully some new culinary skills),” she said. Having mostly done heat-and-eat kits before, Holly was curious to try making steak for the first time — “I grew up in a generally vegetarian family, so it’s not that weird.”

The meal kit arrived neatly organized, with produce in one bag and the tenderloin separated at the bottom of the box. Holly liked that the recipe card “clearly labeled the number of steps (six in my case), plus gave pictures and some helpful tips for how to handle the more intimidating ingredients (aka ginger knobs).”

Initially intimidated by cooking steak and a restaurant-style meal, she advises reading the directions fully before starting, especially since HelloFresh supplies about 95% of the ingredients, but basics like oil and salt will need to be supplied by you. Holly admits, “I was nearly out of the olive oil I was required to have.”

While prepping, she made some tweaks — swapping the stovetop pot for her rice cooker to avoid burning rice. Chopping tomatoes was slow going due to her caution with knives. Thankfully, she used her trusty Caraway stainless steel pan, confident it would cook evenly. “I followed the meal kit’s instructions, from coating the meat with sesame seeds, garlic powder and chili flakes to heating the pan on medium.”

She roasted broccoli first, then transferred the tenderloin to the oven. Making the sauce — a blend of tomatoes, soy sauce, scallions, rice vinegar, and sugar — was a highlight. “I found this part the most fun, as I’ve always wanted to learn how to make a ‘reduction.’”

The meal came together beautifully, though Holly skipped slicing the beef since she was eating solo and hungry. “The rice was fluffy, and the ginger and scallions gave it an Asian-infused flavor that made it so much more interesting than just cooking it in water.” She also loved the sauce, noting, “I would have never thought of making anything like it on my own, and that’s one of the biggest draws meal kits have for me.”

Holly, who often sticks to simple meals, found this kit gave her the confidence to try steak without fear. “The HelloFresh recipe was easy to follow, and the timing was spot-on. The tenderloin came out perfect — juicy, tender, and smelling mouth-wateringly good.”

The cooking took about 45 minutes —10 minutes longer than indicated — thanks to her slow chopping and pausing to take photos. Portions were generous, leaving plenty of leftovers, which she appreciated. She recommends the kit for couples or families wanting to “step their dinner game up with minimal fuss,” though she mentions it’s also great for “solo cooks who love leftovers.”
