The once-a-year two-day shopping event has officially kicked off with hundreds of thousands of products discounted across the entire site.
The brand kicked things off early with a few digital subscription deals, including one that’ll get you three months of Kindle Unlimited for free.

Amazon’s lightest and most compact Kindle got a redesign in 2022, so it now has a 300ppi screen that matches the one of the Kindle Paperwhite, up to six weeks of battery life on one charge, and a glare-free 6-inch display.
A step up from the basic Kindle is the Paperwhite, which features a larger 6.8-inch flush display, adjustable brightness and warmth so it’s easier on the eyes, and IPX8 rated to protect against immersion in two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes, and up to 0.25 meters of seawater for up to three minutes.
This newer Paperwhite takes everything great about the regular Paperwhite and adds more storage (32GB up from 8GB), wireless charging, and a sensor that auto-adjusts your screen brightness based on your surroundings.
The Oasis is the only Kindle model that has page turn buttons instead of having only a touchscreen design. It also has the same auto-adjusting brightness sensor and a 7-inch 300ppi screen.
We’ll let you in on a secret: the Kindle Kids edition is just a 2022 Kindle with an additional free subscription bundled in. Sometimes, the bundle is actually cheaper than getting the device itself, and you’ll also get a cover in a kid-friendly design and a year of Kindle Kids for free. However, adults can use this Kindle to read adult books, too, because it’s still just a Kindle.
Similarly to the Kindle Kids edition, you can save with a Kindle Paperwhite Kids Edition too. It also comes with a cover and the Kindle Kids subscription, but of course, adults can just use this as a Kindle.
