


One child is dead and three others have been hospitalized after possibly consuming fentanyl at a Bronx day care center on Friday afternoon, according to police sources.
Police responded to the 2707 Morris Ave. in Kingsbridge around 2:40 p.m.
A 1-year-old boy was declared dead at the scene.
Three others — a 2-year-old boy, an 8-month-old girl and a third child whose age and gender were not immediately known — were taken to area hospitals in stable condition, police said.
The children ate something at around 1 p.m. before a nap, according to police sources. When they were supposed to wake up around 2:30, they were unresponsive, and given Narcan.
Police said they are investigating whether the children may have consumed fentanyl, sources said
