Over 40 people have been killed and over 180 injured in a Russian missile strike on the central Ukrainian city of Poltava on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky <a href="https://t.me/V_Zelenskiy_official/11532" rel="noopener" target="_blank" title="https://t.me/V_Zelenskiy_official/11532">announced</a>.

The city was struck with two ballistic missiles that targeted an educational facility and a neighbouring hospital, Zelensky wrote. The building of the Military Institute of Communications was partially destroyed in the attack, he added.
