President Trump said Friday that he thinks terms have been agreed to for “a deal on Gaza” that will end Israel’s war with Hamas and free the hostages the Islamist terrorist organization took when it attacked Israel, prompting the war.

“I think we have, maybe, a deal on Gaza; we’re very close to a deal on Gaza,” Trump told reporters as he was leaving the White House to attend the Ryder Cup in New York.

“It's looking like we have a deal on Gaza; we’ll let you know,” Trump said, predicting the outcome of the deal:

“I think it's a deal that will get the hostages back.

“It's going to be a deal that will end the war.

“It’s going to be a deal…there’s going to be peace.”

“I think we have a deal,” the president repeated.

“That’ll be number eight,” Trump said, alluding to his claim that he has already “ended seven wars in seven months.”

Addressing the United Nations on Friday, Israeli President Benjamin reported the state of “where things stand today” in Israel’s war against Islamist terrorism:

“Half the Houthi leadership in Yemen - gone.

“Yehiah Sinwar in Gaza - gone.

“Hasan Nasrallah in Lebanon - gone.

“The Assad regime in Syria - gone.

“Those Militias in Iraq? Well, they’re still deterred. And their leaders, if they attack Israel will also be gone.

“And for Iran’s top military commanders and its top nuclear scientists… Well, they’re gone too.”
