On Monday, the House Judiciary Committee held a field hearing on the rampant violent crime that takes place on a daily basis in Democrat-run New York City due to the pro-criminal policies of Mayor Eric Adams and George Soros-backed prosecutor Alvin Bragg. Yet despite the third-world conditions of cities like New York that have practically become more dangerous than war zones, the Democrat members of the House Judiciary Committee attacked the witnesses and victims of violent crimes as "props." While others wanted to obsess over former President Donald Trump. The audience and witnesses refused to put up with the Democrats' smears. Predictably all three evening news broadcasts ignored this shameful behavior by the Democrats on the committee.
While turning a blind eye to the latest attempt by the Democrat Party's refusal to take the crime sprees in big cities seriously, the networks instead wasted air time on Netflix's apology for its failure to air the live stream of 'Love is Blind' (ABC), the bankruptcy of David's Bridal (CBS) and news about a possible vaccine for skin cancer (NBC).
In contrast, Fox News Channel's Special Report led with the Democrat insurrection. Correspondent Bryan Llenas reported that the out-of-control Democrats "called today's hearing orchestrated by Republican Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan a sham meant to embarrass and intimidate D.A. Bragg because he’s prosecuting former President Trump."
Llenas then to a clip from the hearing when low-IQ Georgia Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson who infamously thought the island of Guam would tip over, smeared victims of heinous crimes:
REP. HANK JOHNSON: Republican witnesses who have used their time to criticize District Attorney Bragg have served as props in a MAGA Broadway production.
AUDIENCE: Oh, knock it off. Come on. Come on!
JOHNSON: The real purpose in coming to New York City—
In the next hour during Jesse Watters Primetime, guest host Pete Hegseth aired more of the Democrat committee members' outbursts. This time from Jerry Nadler D-NY) and Adam Schiff (D-CA):
REP. JERRY NADLER: We are here today in lower Manhattan for one reason and one reason only. The chairman is doing the bidding of Donald Trump. Committee Republicans designed this hearing.
REP. ADAM SCHIFF: Let me tell you this.
[Shouting]
SCHIFF: Let me tell you this.
[Shouting]
AUDIENCE MEMBER: You have politicized this entire event, you’re a scum bag.
SCHIFF: Let me tell you this–
Hegseth perfectly summed up the flawed logic of Democrats like Nadler when criticizing the Judiciary Committee's hearing. "So Nadler accuses Jordan of doing the bidding of Donald Trump. While Alvin Bragg is actually doing the bidding of the Democrat Party."
"Jordan may have held the hearing in New York because Bragg won't cooperate in the committee's investigation. But, more importantly, to highlight the insanity of New York City's crime culture and why it happened," Hegseth noted.
