NextImg:HUGE: Daily Wire to Bring Their Podcasts to Twitter Next Week

Conservative media & entertainment company The Daily Wire announced Tuesday that starting next week, they will be streaming all nine of their podcasts on Twitter for free. The move comes after Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing revealed a massive censorship campaign by YouTube which demonetized many Daily Wire videos and podcasts in the platform, including The Matt Walsh Show.

“At this moment, Twitter is the largest free speech platform in the world,” Boreing announced. “The overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our advertisers and audience after putting ‘The Matt Walsh Show’ on Twitter signals to us there is tremendous opportunity, which is why we’ve decided to distribute the rest of our shows on Twitter."

Conservatives have already found success streaming their shows on Twitter. "In less than a month on Twitter, The Matt Walsh Show had 7.4 million video views, 24 million impressions, and the show’s account gained 140,000 followers," according to The Daily Wire. And shortly after Walsh moved his podcast to Twitter, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced he would be bringing his show to the social platform as well.

"All nine shows offered on DailyWire+ — including “The Ben Shapiro Show,” the “Candace Owens Podcast,” and “The Dr. Jordan Peterson Podcast” — will stream on Twitter," starting May 30, according to the outlet.

If Musk continues to allow free speech on Twitter, Boreing hinted that more could be in store for The Daily Wire's new venture on Twitter: “If Elon Musk stands by his commitment to make Twitter a home for free speech and delivers on monetization opportunities and more sophisticated analytics for content creators, I imagine we will invest even more into the platform.”
