People move from their homes all the time for any number of reasons. But I’d be willing to bet that few move because they believe the state they live in won’t accept them for who they are.
Mark down Dwayne Wade as one of those few.
The former Miami Heat point guard and three-time NBA champion has 15-year-old son who transitioned, and he claims to be a woman named Zaya. Wade has lived in Florida for much of his post-career life, but moved to California from The Sunshine State in 2019 because he believes it’s not LGBT-friendly.

"I mean, obviously, the tax [situation] is great. Having Wade County is great. But my family would not be accepted or feel comfortable there,” Wade said. “And so that's one of the reasons why I don't live there."
Wade is correct by saying Florida doesn’t sell out for the LGBT agenda. Gov. Ron DeSantis has done all he can to make sure this poisonous ideology does not negatively affect his state in the way it has many other aspects of society.
But why would you need to move to the other side of the country? DeSantis has never told anyone they can’t make these choices (however disgusting and illogical they can’t be), so moving wasn’t really necessary.
In a way, this decision makes some level of sense. People who follow the LGBT agenda think that everyone must sell out for a worldview they don’t believe in (even entire states), and if they can’t get their way, they take ridiculous courses of actions like this.
But on another hand, it's beneficial for Florida. Now they have one less crazy, entitled family to deal with and can enjoy life without gender ideology radicals living nearby.
