After everything that has happened since October 7, it might not have been the worst way to begin Jewish Heritage Month in Canada. Following on 207 days of bloodcurdling antisemitic incitements, attacks on synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses, and lurid public celebrations of the bloodiest day in Jewish history since the Holocaust, an arrest has been made.
