PARIS — On her last day as a 25-year-old, Sophiane Methot won bronze for Canada in the bronze in women’s trampoline gymnastics at the Paris Olympics.
Methot, from Longueuil, Que., claimed the bronze with a score of 55.650. Great Britain’s Bryony Page won gold, and Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, who was representing the Individual Neutral Athletes, came second.
Methot was not in Tokyo due to an injury during the qualifying process, and made into the field for Paris because of her fifth-place finish at the 2023 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.
