Last week’s bombshell report from the National Security Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians (NSICOP) on foreign interference offered parliamentarians of all political stripes yet another opportunity to put aside their partisan differences and stand up for the sanctity of Canadian democracy and our national right to self-determination.

Instead, our political leaders have given wildly different accounts of the scope of the problem, and continue to offer up excuses as to why voters should not be equipped with as much information as possible when they head to the polls in the next election.
