OTTAWA – Independent MP Han Dong was suddenly reminded by his wife days before his testimony at the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference that a bus of international students, likely of Chinese descent, had voted in his nomination contest for Don Valley North in 2019.
Dong testified at the public inquiry on Tuesday. His team sent a written submission to the inquiry the day prior, on April 1, six weeks after he was interviewed by the commission’s lawyers.
