Something jumped out at me while listening to a recent episode of New York Times columnist Ezra Klein’s podcast with election forecasting guru, Nate Silver.

Silver was talking about Kamala Harris’ choice of Minnesota governor, Tim Walz, as her vice-presidential pick.

He said, personally, he would have chosen Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro, because it is such an important electoral state, but that Walz is not a terrible pick.
