As tensions rise at the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Toronto, hundreds of Jewish students and faculty members planned to hold a rally Wednesday evening to combat hate on campus.

“Jewish students and faculty have not felt safe being on their campus. Some have been attacked, some have been refused entry, and many have experienced antisemitism,” says a press release announcing the event, which is co-organized by a number of Jewish student groups, including Hillel Ontario and the U of T Jewish Medical Students Association.
