Against the odds, Donald Trump won back the U.S. presidency. The question now is: What does he do with it? The American people largely agree on issues they consider priorities. They even expect the new president to succeed in some area that matter to them (and to fail in a few others). That creates an opportunity for Trump to rise to the occasion by addressing concerns that drove the voters to put him back in office. That is, it’s an opportunity if he succeeds.
