Five candidates were campaigning to become the Conservative nominee for the Ontario riding of Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill, but on Tuesday’s vote, only two will be on the ballot: Costas Menegakis and Carmine Perrelli.

But those who didn’t make the cut haven’t accepted defeat quietly — making for an optics problem, and perhaps a public confidence problem.
