Let it never be said that the Liberals are not magnanimous when it comes to accepting reformed conservatives into their club.
On Saturday it was announced that former conservative radio host Charles Adler had been appointed to the Senate, along with twice-failed Liberal candidate and long-time donor Tracy Muggli.
Surely, principled, honest Chuck Adler should have refused his naming to the Senate, which he described as a “chamber of drunken second chances” in 2013. However, just like his politics, Adler has had a change of heart.
