I used to say I wouldn’t send my kids to Jewish day school because it was too expensive. Now I’d rather not send them because there is an emerging trend in my country that involves antisemites shooting guns at Jewish schools under the cover of night. It’s a trend that more casual Jew haters shrug their shoulders at. After all, kids aren’t even at school after dark. And besides, have you seen Gaza?
