OTTAWA – Infrastructure Minister Sean Fraser said he doesn’t know enough about Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s plans for a massive tunnel under Highway 401 to say whether his government would help build it.

Ford announced his proposal in late September for a tunnel running under the 401, which runs through the Greater Toronto Area. He announced a feasibility study for the proposal which he said could run as much as 70 kilometres, but said that study will only determine how big a project the government pursues.
