Dave Grohl has vowed to “regain” the trust of his family after fathering a child outside of marriage.

The 55-year-old musician plans to be a “loving and supportive” dad to his new baby girl – but Grohl also intends to rebuild trust with his wife Jordyn Blum and their three children.

The ‘Walking After You’ hitmaker – who has been married to Jordyn since 2003 – wrote on Instagram: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
