This week, I stood alongside the families and friends of hostages at Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square. Nearly a year and a half after the horrific October 7th massacre — when about 1,200 people were brutally murdered and around 250 kidnapped and taken hostage  — we have no idea what the remaining hostages are enduring under Hamas in their underground tunnels or wherever they are being held. Fifty-nine have yet to be brought home. Some have been starved and subjected to unspeakable cruelty. And yet, much of the world has passively accepted this atrocity as though it were a normal state of affairs — allowing Jewish children, the frail and elderly, and innocent men and women to be stolen away and held captive with impunity.
