In a celebration of freedom, unity and shared human dignity, this week I hosted a pre-Passover dinner, drawing faith leaders, public servants, and changemakers from across the Greater Toronto Area. Held in the spirit of Passover — a holiday that commemorates the Jewish people’s liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt — this gathering was more than a shared meal.
