An Air Canada flight safely arrived in Toronto from Punta Cana International Airport on April 8 despite the pilot warning of a “‘jammed stabilizer and multiple failures.”

In a recording of a call with air traffic control, the pilot can be heard declaring “PAN PAN,” which is short for “possible assistance needed,” and is used to communicate an urgent but non-emergency situation.
