A pro-Hamas activist at the heart of Canada’s anti-Israel movement, has been arrested by Vancouver police on suspicion of hate speech.

In a Wednesday statement, the Vancouver Police Department said a 44-year-old Vancouver woman had been arrested as a part of “a criminal investigation to determine whether comments made during a protest last weekend violated hate-crime laws.”
