During a chat with Laura Ingraham on State TV, sorry Fox News, Donald Trump gushed over his son Barron's tech skills. "He can look at a computer... I turn off his laptop, I said, 'Oh good,' and I go back about five minutes later, he's got his laptop, I say, 'How do you do that?', the proud father said. "He's got an unbelievable aptitude in technology."

Yes, indeed a modern-day Einstein, figuring out how to reopen a laptop. Meanwhile, this is the same guy who currently has the nuclear codes. Let's just hope no one ever told him, "Sir, you just press this button, and it turns right back on."

Meanwhile, the parents of a Texas child who died from measles have popped up in a video created by an anti-vaccine group, where they vented their frustration at vaccines. In a stunning display of denial, they even claimed that measles "wasn't that bad." It came after their six-year-old child died from the disease last month, marking the first measles-related child death in the US in nearly a decade.

In a truly modern-day family drama, three Texas teens reportedly went after their mum with kitchen knives following an almighty row. The sisters, aged 14, 15, and 16, allegedly teamed up to "try and kill" their mother, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The reason? A Wi-Fi shutdown. The teens reportedly grabbed knives, chased their mum through the house, and even out into the street.

A United Airlines flight to Shanghai had to turn around over the weekend because the pilot forgot his passport. The plane, which took off from Los Angeles at 2pm, was diverted to San Francisco three hours after the pilot realised his mistake. With 257 passengers and 13 crew members on board, United Flight 198 had a detour that left travellers fuming.

North of the border, a 31-year-old dad got caught trying to film a nine-year-old changing at his cabin and told police he just wanted to check if he was a paedophile. A Saskatoon courtroom heard that in June 2024, Scott Reiley repeatedly tried to record the minor who knew him. Crown prosecutor Andrew Clements said the kid was smarter than he was. The kid spotted the phone hidden near a plant, deleted the video, and later told their dad.

After two weeks in a hospital and what was surely the world's most expensive stomachache, a convicted thief finally "passed" the £600,000 worth of diamonds he allegedly swallowed after swiping them from Tiffany & Co. Jaythan Gilder, 32, was arrested on February 26, hours after allegedly posing as a basketball player's rep, slipping into a private room, and bolting with the solitaire earrings. He then spent two weeks under police watch in an Orlando hospital, waiting for nature - and gravity - to take its course.
