Season two of a tense thriller that has been praised by critics has landed on Netflix. The Snow Girl follows a young journalist who decides to investigate the case of a missing girl, while also dealing with her own trauma.

The Spanish language drama is set in Málaga and stars Milena Smit, known by movie buffs for her role in the emotional Parallel Mothers. The show currently holds a 100% critics score on the site Rotten Tomatoes, with reviewers praising the show as suspenseful and absorbing.

In the show, Milena plays Miren Rojo, an intern at a local newspaper who covers the story of a missing 5-year-old girl. The case strikes a chord with her, and along with experienced journalist Eduardo (José Coronado), she sets out to solve a years long mystery. But there's also an investigation underway by tough detective Millán (Aixa Villagrán), with the two women often clashing along the way.

Season two sees Miren receive a mysterious note with the message: "Do you want to play?", along with a picture of a bound woman. This leads her into a dark game, where she risks her life and sanity to track down the perpetrator of the crime.
