NextImg:Kerry Katona 'signs up for dating show' months after split from fiancé Ryan

Kerry Katona has reportedly signed up to a huge TV dating show following her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney at the end of last year.

The couple, who were engaged for four years, and together for six, called it quits due to a breach of trust. At the time, the former Atomic Kitten star wrote in her OK! column: "Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house.

"We are no longer together and It's been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us."

Continuing, she wrote: "But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I've been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens."

Now, it looks like Kerry is 'coming out the other side' as she's reportedly signed up for a huge TV dating show. "Kerry was heartbroken when she split from Ryan – it’s taken her quite a while to get over what happened," a source told The Sun.

"But she was approached to do the show and is always up for a new opportunity. Bosses know she makes amazing telly and she’s really hoping she finds a proper connection."

The Mirror have contacted Kerry Katona's representatives for comment.

It comes after the star revealed she was ready to start dating again in her latest weekly column for OK! Speaking about how she'd be spending her Valentine's Day single, the mother of four said: "I'm quite glad I'll be away on holiday for it since it’s my first one single in a long time.

"It will be a bit strange without Ryan, but he was never great at Valentine’s gifts anyway. i’ve never been really into Valentine’s day so i’m feeling OK – i think it’s a bit gimmicky, although i did get married once on 14 February!"

Revealing she's signed up to celebrity dating app Raya, Kerry continued: "i’ll get the kids a card and maybe one for myself because i need a bit of self-love. i have actually been trying to get on the Raya app to dip my toe in the dating pond, but i’m not on it yet. i don’t think i’d like to do the other apps again."
