Biden Had Cancerous Lesion Removed: White House Physician

President Joe Biden had a cancerous lesion successfully removed from his chest during last month’s annual physical exam, according to Kevin O’Connor, the president’s physician. Writing in a memo on Mar. 3, O’Connor noted that the lesion was a basal cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer. The area was treated at the time of the biopsy, and no additional treatment is necessary. “The site of the biopsy has healed nicely and the President will continue dermatologic surveillance as part of his ongoing comprehensive healthcare,” the doctor wrote.

The State Department confirmed on Mar. 3 that the US would give Ukraine a $400 million security aid package, providing Kyiv with additional ammunition, equipment, and ordnance for its war against Russia. US Housing Affordability Collapses to Historic Low

According to a new report by real estate brokerage firm Redfin, only one-quarter of residential properties listed for sale in the US qualified as affordable for the average US household. The report revealed that the number of affordable properties in 2022 declined by more than half, representing the most significant yearly decrease in the company’s records since 2013. “Housing affordability is at the lowest level in history, which is widening the wealth gap—especially between generations,” said Redfin deputy chief economist Taylor Marr.
