One of the more astonishing characteristics of an entrenched progressive ruling establishment is its avid canoodling with communist revolutionaries determined to overthrow the United States. A stunning new report lays out how infamous globalist “philanthropist” George Soros has funded pro-terror groups fired by a Marxist agitation core. But Soros does not walk alone in abetting what the Trump administration has identified as a dire domestic threat.

“Since 2016, George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, now run with his son Alexander, has poured over $80 million into groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence,” Ryan Mauro of the Capital Research Center wrote September 17. “The evidence is stark: Open Society has sent millions of dollars into US-based organizations that engage in ‘direct actions’ that the FBI defines as domestic terrorism.”

Mauro’s dossier extensively details an elaborate network of larger umbrella organizations and radical local sub-units that work to aggressively stir up social unrest wherever and however they can. Three topical issues appear to serve as especially useful vehicles at the moment: pro-Palestinian protests, climate change activism, and exacerbated minority racial grievance.

We’ll focus on one spoke of the wheel to demonstrate how the operation works.

“Open Society has provided Grassroots Global Justice Alliance (GGJA) with at least $150,000” in recent years, Mauro relates. “In 2020, the Alliance endorsed violence against law enforcement, posting a graphic showing weapons and criminal tactics used by protestors, such as blockading roads in order to impede police cars and encouraging demonstrators not to provide information about each other’s crimes.”

The ideology and tactics of GGJA trace back to the decades-old communist radicalism of its executive director, Cindy Wiesner. In an August 2024 podcast interview with Convergence Magazine, Wiesner reflected on what the publication noted was her “35 years of internationalist organizing on the US Left.”

“My family is from El Salvador and Colombia, countries completely impacted by US intervention, and, you know, civil war and revolutionary movements,” Wiesner stated. It is crucial to observe that Wiesner directly (if rather incoherently) declares that the “social justice” fight against climate change is a jumping-off point for the greater battle against what she sees as a larger oppressive Western construct.

“Around the issues of climate justice… we come out of the environmental justice and climate justice movement, around the workaround demilitarization, not only around demilitarization in our communities and the fights against the police, [US Immigration and Customs Enforcement], the military budget, but also around the wars and occupations around the world and around racial and gender justice,” Wiesner said.

Throughout, Wiesner peppers her talking points with Marxist lingo about internationalist “liberation.” And with good reason. In her early activist years in the 1990s, Wiesner was a board member of a San Francisco Bay Area Maoist organization called Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), watchdog website Discover the Networks reports.

STORM “promoted the concept of ‘Urban Marxism,’ the belief that ‘the urban space was now the central site of revolutionary struggle, just as the factory and the point of production were in the days of Karl Marx,” the Discover file on the group reads.

The Capital Research Center has posted a 2004 STORM document titled “Reclaiming Revolution” that reveals how violent street protest is a key part of revolutionary Marxist agitation strategy.

“STORM traces its organizational roots back to Roots Against War (RAW), a group of young people of color who came together to fight against the Gulf War in the early 1990s,” the publication states. “RAW’s marches were militant and confrontational, regularly defying police commands and occasionally plunging through police lines and barricades.”

There was a higher purpose behind it all.

“Together, RAW’s political priorities and practical methods allowed the group to lead thousands of people into direct confrontation with the state,” the group adds. “As the ruling class faced political crises and people across the country questioned the system’s legitimacy, RAW created space for young militants of color to express their outrage and develop radical views.”

This is what is happening today. It can perhaps best be seen in the anti-deportation protests in major American cities, such as Los Angeles, where angry racial minorities who wholly identify with the foreign nations of their ethnicity have been taught to see themselves as instruments to destroy the American oppressor nation from within.

“Inside the belly of the beast we have a specific role to play because we are inside the country that is making the big moves across the globe – really the leader in pushing the neoliberalist agenda and destroying the planet,” Kitzia Esteva of the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance-affiliated subgroup Causa Justa says in a quote highlighted on a “International Movement Building” page on the GGJA website.

Assimilation? That’s not the idea at all, Esteva asserts.

“Through the global grip of capitalism and neoliberalism we are all connected,” she continues, describing the common internationalist struggle against Western “hegemony.” “Specifically, immigrant communities have been forced to migrate to the US because of US interventionism and exploitation of the natural resources all over the world that displaces entire communities.”

George Soros isn’t the only one who has backed this growing internal threat. Guess what, your taxpayer dollars did, too. The Biden administration, under the elastic guise of “climate justice,” announced in December 2023 that it was directing a $50 million federal grant under the Inflation Reduction Act to a group called the Climate Justice Alliance in the pursuit of “environmental justice.”

CJA is “an umbrella group for more than 80 ‘community organizations,’ including the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance,” Park MacDougald reported for The Tablet.

Liberty Nation depends on the support of our readers.

In fact, Cindy Wiesner, head of GGJA and veteran Maoist revolutionary, co-founded the Climate Justice Alliance.

Yes, Joe Biden, the man who opened America’s borders to all comers for four devastating years, also steered millions of federal dollars to communist revolutionaries who harnessed these “newcomers” to foment social unrest in the streets of its major cities. If a full probe of George Soros’ deeply subversive attempts to destroy this nation from within is ever conducted, it is bound to encompass some of the most powerful US political figures from the past 30-plus years.
