On June 4, The White House released what it describes as a fact sheet explaining the key element of Joe Biden’s new executive order dealing with illegal immigration. The EO will prevent migrants who enter the US illegally from receiving asylum. The new rule is not intended to be permanent, but will be in effect until “the number of migrants who cross the border between ports of entry is low enough for America’s system to safely and effectively manage border operations.”

The “fact sheet” also details other recent actions taken by the Biden administration to secure the chaotic southern border.
