It’s often said that there are times to thrive and times to survive, a maxim largely attributed to American author and poet Maya Angelou. This principle may be what has Hillary Clinton in such a foul mood as she faces a subpoena from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, along with her husband, who apparently has lots of ’splaining to do regarding his longtime relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Perhaps this is why she took to the X platform earlier this week to rail against President Donald Trump’s plans to make the District of Columbia great again.
The response to Mrs. Clinton’s post on X, criticizing the president’s intentions to clean up the nation’s capital, was swift and harsh. A Twitchy author, bylined simply Sam J., was representative of the reaction to HRC’s comments, saying, “Cankles herself came out of hiding to push the lie about D.C. crime; oh, and Hillary calling anyone else unhinged is simply hilarious.” So, what exactly has conservatives all riled up and jumping on the former first lady’s case? Here is her post:
“As you listen to an unhinged Trump try to justify deploying the National Guard in DC, here’s reality: Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low.”
Then she chickened out and turned off the ability for others on X to reply, but that didn’t stop people from roasting her en masse.
“Hillary is a disgusting, evil creature. The lying is too casual,” David Angelo countered. Kathi3249 seconded the motion, writing, “Crawl back under the rock where you were hiding. We do not value your opinion.” Charles Fina chimed in with, “Maybe the bleachbit has seeped into her brain.” And Red Rider punctuated all the animosity toward Clinton with, “You would think with what they’ve got on her, that she would STFU. She’s deluded.”
There were literally dozens of graphs and charts debunking Mrs. Clinton’s Democratic talking point. The overwhelming majority of opinion was that whoever came up with the crime stats depicting a 30-year low for DC must be living under a rock. Perhaps it is the subpoena that she and her husband are facing that has the former candidate for president riled.
So, why is Hillary being dragged into the Epstein case? Culturacolectiva.com reported, “The subpoena suggests she ‘may have knowledge of efforts by the federal government to combat international sex trafficking operations of the type run by Epstein.’” As well, it’s being reported that the committee found “letters” between Hillary and Epstein’s former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving time for her part in the underage sex-trafficking operation.
Whether Mrs. Clinton’s deposition in the case will shed light on her family’s relationship with Epstein and Maxwell is anyone’s guess, but until her sworn testimony before the House committee, she’ll have to shoulder the burden of dealing with her husband’s extramarital exploits in public once again. If we were to ask the commenters on X about her future humiliation, it’s likely they would respond that it couldn’t happen to a nicer gal. Such is the animosity that many in America have for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Her deposition is scheduled for Oct. 14, 2025.
