Texas authorities say they found a 14-year-old boy on a ranch hours after he fled from police while driving a car packed with illegal aliens.

The incident unfolded at around 5:30 a.m. on March 7 in Maverick County.

The driver of a Toyota Camry led Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers on a high-speed chase before veering off the highway and bailing out, along with half a dozen passengers, according to Lt. Chris Olivarez.

Later that day, another TxDPS trooper encountered two women sitting in Ford pickup truck on the side of a road.

In Spanish, the driver explained she was looking for her teenage son who had disappeared in her car with another boy the night before.

She said she tracked his cell phone’s GPS signal to the area but could not find him after searching for hours.

Troopers determined the boy had likely been the driver of the aforementioned Toyota and began hunting for him in the brush.

They eventually tracked him down and he confessed he had been smuggling “6 or 7 illegal immigrants,” authorities say.

The boy, a resident of Austin, was charged with human smuggling and the illegal migrants, all citizens of Mexico, were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol, TxDPS says.

Cartels have been targeting young Americans via social media, enticing them to participate in dangerous smuggling operations.

Chaos unfolds constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as Infowars regularly reports.
