Columnist Allison Pearson has called for the arrest of British ‘Covid minister’ Matt Hancock for willful misconduct in an op-ed in Britain’s Daily Telegraph. She also wants the “slithy tove dragged before a Select Committee and made to answer for his actions and the vast hurt they have caused.”
The Telegraph has published the most breathtakingly damning stories about the misuse of power (and “science”) by former Health Secretary Matt Hancock and his cabal during the pandemic, said Pearson. “I don’t know about you, but having read so much about their callow political posturing and callous disregard, especially for children and the elderly, my Outrage Bucket is empty, and I am reduced to throwing up bile,” said the columnist.
Ten thousand leaked WhatsApp messages seen by the British press have revealed how the British government aimed to use “fear” and “guilt” to force mass compliance with the country’s lockdown regime. They revealed, among other things, that Hancock wanted to terrify people.
In one exchange sent in December 2020, Hancock discusses how best to replace talk of the Conservative Party’s Brexit failings within the media with fear about the pandemic, seemingly suggesting a strategic drop of news regarding a new Covid variant to heighten people’s fear response, reports Breitbart.
“‘We frighten the pants off everyone with the new strain (sic),’ he said in a chat with a Department of Health media advisor before going on to ask when exactly the state should “deploy” the new variant of the virus to maximize impact and best fight off anti-lockdown elements within both the Tory Party and Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper.”
“Even at the height of World War II, Government never used propaganda to frighten its own people. This lot did. Kids killed themselves, and mental health collapsed. Unforgivable, Matt Hancock should be arrested for wilful misconduct in pub office,” said the columnist on Twitter.
She points out that Hancock lied about hospitals flooding. Care came to a complete standstill because of the lockdowns. Hancock even offered NHS beds to French Covid patients while telling the British people not to bother their health service lest it become ‘overwhelmed’ She wants him thrown in jail for all the mental and physical suffering he’s caused.
Relatives of residents of nursing homes plan to use WhatsApp messages in lawsuits against the former care minister. Pearson reports:
Some families of care-home residents are preparing a private prosecution against Hancock, I know. The Crown Prosecution Service must then decide if it is in the public interest to proceed. The Lockdown Files should provide critical evidence.
Researcher Dr. Eli David wrote on Twitter that ‘the first domino has fallen.’ David said it is the first time that a major mainstream media in a Western country has called for the arrest and prosecution of a health minister for his corona crimes.
