Devastating “died suddenly” tragedies coming out of Alberta, recently.
Edmonton Fire Fighters Union announced yesterday (Feb.11, 2023) that 41 year old firefighter Chris Kinsella died suddenly, off duty from a “medical event”.
I have been informed privately that he had been quadruple vaccinated (double boosted), and died suddenly from a cardiac arrest while he was participating in a cross-country ski race.
Two Alberta RCMP police officers have died suddenly
Aaron David Zimmerman, age 41, was an RCMP Officer living in Red Deer, Alberta. He died “unexpectedly and tragically” on a family vacation in Cancun, Mexico on January 25, 2023. Further details are not known at this time (click here).
Bruce Franklin Holliday, age 52 was an RCMP Officer living in Stettler, Alberta. He died suddenly of cardiac arrest on January 24, 2023 (click here).
Alberta’s catastrophic COVID-19 Vaccine mandates….
Alberta implemented horrific COVID-19 vaccine mandates in 2021 for firefighters and police.
In July 2021, Calgary firefighters sued the City of Calgary over COVID-19 vaccine mandates (click here).
“The Plaintiffs have suffered measurable damages, including mental distress, anxiety, and, in particular, injury to dignity and self-respect,” the statement of claim reads. “The Plaintiffs are therefore entitled to significant damages due to the manner in which the City suspended their employment, including a claim for punitive aggravated damages arising from flagrant human rights and Charter violations.”
According to the lawsuit, the vaccine policy created a “hostile and toxic work environment” in which the plaintiffs claim they were forced to “either attest or be put on unpaid leave of absence under the threat of discipline or termination,” calling it “discrimination based on medical status.”
The lawsuit claims there were violations of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and criminal assault.
Alberta firefighters take AHS to Court in Oct.2021
In October 2021, a group of firefighters mounted a court challenge against Alberta Health Services over “unconstitutional” vaccine mandate (click here).
“Last week a group of Alberta first responders sent a letter to Alberta Health Services saying they will take AHS to court over what they call the “unconstitutional” vaccine mandate.”
“The group, known as Fight for the Frontline, is made up of firefighters, paramedics, and other front-line staff who have hired a law firm to take up their case in court.”
Spokesperson Tim Moen, who is a firefighter-paramedic, said he speaks for those who may have medical conditions, religious exemptions, or what he calls natural immunity from contracting the COVID-19 virus.
Moen said, in listening to his colleagues, he found many who may lose their jobs because they are unvaccinated. “Hearing their stories kind of broke my heart and so I wanted to get involved and help them out,” Moen said.
Moen said they have heard back from AHS, who is asking them for the identities of those behind the letter. Moen said they are reluctant to reveal their identities for fear of retribution.
RCMP implemented abusive COVID-19 Vaccine mandates
“RCMP says it’s ready to deploy reservists to replace unvaccinated Mounties on leave. The deadline for public servants to declare their vaccination status is today”, CBC reported on October 29, 2021 (click here).
“RCMP union says it’s representing unvaccinated Mounties fighting the federal mandate. RCMP won’t say how many members are on leave due to their vaccination status.” CBC reported on January 12, 2022 (click here).
Brian Sauvé, president of the National Police Federation, said his union has heard from members who have been put on leave or dismissed due to noncompliance. "We're neither here nor there on vaccine mandates. We don't support it. We're not against it," he said.
“Ottawa lifts COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal, transport workers”, CTV reported on June 14, 2022 (click here).
According to a government website, 98.5 per cent of the federal public service is fully vaccinated, 0.3 per cent is partially vaccinated, another 0.3 per cent reports being unvaccinated and 0.9 per cent have made accommodation requests.
My take…
I have always opposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates of every kind. When I co-signed a letter sent to Alberta Health Services in October 2021 to oppose their mandates for Alberta’s 105,000 healthcare workers, I received a threatening letter from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, claiming they would put my opposition “on your record”.
These COVID-19 vaccine mandates were unscientific, unethical and unlawful.
We are only beginning to see the horrific consequences of these unprecedented human rights abuses.
