Liberal judge Susan Crawford directly called out top Donald Trump ally Elon Musk during her victory speech Tuesday night after winning a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Tech billionaire Musk had poured millions of dollars into backing Crawford’s Republican opponent Brad Schimel, through affiliated groups, making Crawford’s win all the more significant.

Musk had painted the race as “important for the future of civilization.”

“I’ve got to tell you, as a little girl growing up in Chippewa Falls, I never could have imagined that I’d be taking on the richest man in the world,” Crawford told a cheering crowd of supporters in Madison, Wisconsin.

Crawford paused as the crowd erupted in applause before continuing: “For justice in Wisconsin.”

“And we won!” she added, to even louder cheers.
