NextImg:Whoopi Goldberg’s Reaction To Silly Debate About JLo And Ben Affleck Is Hilariously Relatable
LOADINGERROR LOADING

Whoopi Goldberg may be more willing to speculate about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck if the world wasn’t on fire.

Or at least that’s what her body language indicated on “The View” Thursday afternoon in the funniest way possible.

After the panel on the daytime talk show discussed the pressing political issue of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s national security scandal earlier in the episode, the show switched gears and prompted the women to yap about Affleck and Lopez’s divorce. Or, more specifically, about a piece in Bustle about how some women have sexual awakening post-divorce, and how that ties into Bennifer’s divorce — which was completely speculative.

Goldberg immediately implied that she felt the topic was asinine.

“You had to sneak it in,” Goldberg said while reading from a card that introduced the new topic. “Because you know I’d never do this.”

After letting out a comically deep sigh, Goldberg decided to play nice for a bit and indulge the conversation. But once the discussion nearly reached the three-minute mark, Goldberg had clearly had enough.

Goldberg looked at the audience and began to dramatically lean on the table in front of her like she wanted to put her head down and take a nap. Once her head was on the table, she upped the ante by banging on a bell beside her — which is usually there and used by Goldberg to signal that she wants a conversation to end.

Thankfully, after this grand display of irritation, the show cut to commercial.

Although the “Ghost” alum was irked by the convoluted subject matter of Lopez and Affleck’s divorce — and how that leads to women having better sex — Goldberg did offer some interesting insight on the topic at first.

Being that the “Sister Act” star has been married and divorced three times, per People, her co-host Joy Behar asked Goldberg if she relates with the Bustle piece’s argument.

“It had nothing to do with the divorce, I was just glad to get the hell out of there,” Goldberg said. “I was always having great sex, I just wasn’t having any fun.”

Goldberg also pointed out that the idea that all women have a sexual glow-up post-divorce isn’t a universal truth.

“Well, they don’t do better if they’ve been cheated on,” Goldberg pointed out.
