Whoopi Goldberg has no interest in Donald Trump returning to “The View” anytime soon.
The host, in remarks on Thursday’s episode, said welcoming the GOP nominee back would be “not advantageous” for the daytime talk show’s audience.
“Because it would be nothing but, ‘And you’re a bonehead. And you’re a bonehead.’ And it’s hard — ‘What do you think about this?’ and then he starts talking about his toenails,” Goldberg told guest Hasan Minhaj.
Her remarks come after the former president recently attacked the show and its hosts, calling them “degenerates” and “dumb women” on his Truth Social platform earlier this month.
Trump, who once made headlines for his feud with former host Rosie O’Donnell in the ’00s, would later take to the annual Al Smith charity dinner where he claimed that “The View” doesn’t “do very well” despite the show’s high ratings.
