A “White Lotus” cast member is pretty sure the Season 3 finale will leave fans wishing they had some lorazepam.
The Hollywood Reporter asked the current cast of the HBO hit in a piece published Wednesday about the season’s final episode, and Charlotte Le Bon, who plays Chloe, had a seven-word response that cut to the chase.
“People are going to hate Mike White,” Le Bon told the entertainment magazine.

Mike White, who is the show’s creator, explained to THR that the plot of Season 3 was literally inspired by a fever dream.
White said he originally wanted to set Season 3 in Japan, but HBO was pushing really hard for Thailand because it “had good tax incentives.” So, White and “White Lotus” producer David Bernad visited Thailand as “a courtesy to HBO,” and while they were there, White ended up in the hospital.
“I got really sick with bronchitis,” White explained. “They put me on a nebulizer. It was like I’d smoked crack — not that I’ve smoked crack. For two days, I did not sleep. I was just lying in a hospital bed [in Chiang Mai], trying to think about what the show was, and it came to me.”
“I saw Mike the next morning, and he told me what he’d hallucinated,” Bernad told THR. “That’s basically what we shot.”

Bernad also told the magazine that unlike previous seasons, he and White decided to keep the final script a secret.
“This season, our script supervisor wrote these crazy fake endings that we distributed on set,” Bernad explained. “We didn’t distribute the real last script. People on set didn’t know, except the actors, obviously.”
Bernad didn’t specify if every cast member in Season 3 got the correct final script, or just some of them. Because of this, when some cast members were asked about the ending, they either said they were clueless or their recollection is hazy.

“I’m just excited to watch the finale with the rest of the world because I actually have no idea what happens,” Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays Saxon Ratliff, told THR.

“I forgot who died. It was so stressful when I read it. The dark stuff, I blazed through,” Parker Posey, who plays Victoria Ratliff, admitted.
“Whatever you think you know, you’re going to get it wrong,” Jon Gries, who plays the show’s biggest villain, Greg/Gary Hunt, warned.
So, we suppose it’s somewhat safe to assume that whatever happens, Greg and his girlfriend Chloe are involved in some way. Or at least, that’s what they want us to believe. But here’s hoping all Duke T-shirts featured on the show will remain unharmed.
