In the category of “Phrase,” a confident Will declared he would solve while facing a board that read: _ _ _ E / _OURSE_F / A / ROUN_ / OF / A_ _ _ AUSE.
“Treat yourself a round of sausage,” he declared.
He got the buzzer and a “that’s not it” from host Ryan Seacrest to signify a wrong answer before fellow player Kitina correctly solved it: “Give yourself a round of applause.”
Seacrest, who replaced longtime host Pat Sajak, couldn’t resist commenting on Will’s wildly incorrect solution as the contestant laughed off his goof.
“Although, Will, I kind of like yours better,” Seacrest said. “That sounds better than just clapping right now.”

Another contestant, Chantel, won the game with a total of $13,000.
The game show has had its share of incredibly wrong answers in recent history, but Will’s is right up there.
