NextImg:'Weekend Update': Colin Jost Thanks Trump For Taking This 'Gamble' During Zelenskyy Clash

“Weekend Update” host Colin Jost had a “pretty good” reaction to a clip of President Donald Trump’s outburst toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday.

Jost, in the latest edition of the “SNL” news segment, turned to footage of Trump berating Zelenskyy for “gambling with the lives of millions of people” and “gambling with World War III” during the fiery White House meeting.

“And now thanks to that meeting, now you actually can gamble on World War III on FanDuel,” Jost quipped.

The host then tried not to laugh as he set up a joke about the U.S. president.

“Trump repeatedly scolded Zelenskyy, telling him, ‘You have real problems.’ Yeah, man, he’s in a war,” the host joked.

“No one’s asking to borrow missiles so you can take the party to the next level.”

He turned to Zelenskyy being asked to leave the White House only to later appear on Fox News where he told network host Bret Baier that he thinks he can still salvage his relationship with Trump.

“Which is like Justin Baldoni saying, ‘I’d love to work with Blake again,’” said Jost of the “It Ends With Us” director and co-star, who is part of an ongoing legal battle with actor Blake Lively.
