Former President Donald Trump said he is uncertain that he will do another debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, reasoning that he thinks he won Tuesday night’s event in a landslide and only losers want a rematch.
“When a fighter loses they say, ‘I want a rematch,’” he said in a phone interview with Fox News early Wednesday. “I won the debate. I don’t know that I want to do another debate.”
He repeated his stance when asked again, saying, “I’d be less inclined to because we had a great night.”

“I think it was one of my best debates, maybe my best debate,” he added, while claiming that polls showed that he “won it by 80-20.”
Trump posted screen grabs on his Truth Social account of several informal social media polls conducted on X, formerly called Twitter, that showed him as the victor.
A formal poll of debate watchers conducted by the independent research company SSRS, however, showed that viewers thought Harris beat Trump 63% to 37%.
