Trump's Official Account Is The Biggest Political Ad Buyer On X
Democrats are vastly outspending Republicans on internet political ads on every major platform except for one — X, formerly known as Twitter, owned by Trump supporting-billionaire Elon Musk.
The biggest political ad buyer on X is Trump's official account, according to an analysis by AdImpact and The Washington Post.
The difference shows how much the platform has changed since Musk bought it.
“Conservatives feel more comfortable being on X,” said a Republican digital strategist.
Islamic Religious Leaders Endorse Harris
A group of 25 imams endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president with an open letter, NBC News reported Sunday.
They urged Muslim voters to think carefully about the potential risks and harm involved with a decision. Choosing Harris “far outweighs the harms of the other options," they wrote.
"Knowingly enabling someone like Donald Trump to return to office, whether by voting directly for him or for a third-party candidate, is both a moral and a strategic failure," they wrote, pointing to his "well-documented history of harming our communities and country."
The endorsement is a welcome boost for Harris as the Muslim community has been divided over whether to support her. Many groups point to the Biden administration's support for Israel as a reason to not endorse or support third-party candidates.
