Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a TikTok personality with 1.5 million followers, died at age 25 from complications tied to asthma and Addison’s disease, her family told Today.com in a statement shared Thursday.
Citing a source “close to the family,” People wrote that her death was triggered by a severe asthma attack.
The influencer’s husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her “sudden and unexpected” death Oct. 5.
“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” he wrote on Instagram. “This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”
Cameron Grigg noted that she had been in and out of the hospital.

Addison’s disease compromises the body’s ability to produce certain hormones and can be life-threatening, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Following her death, Grigg’s body remained in the hospital for organ donation, her husband wrote.
Cameron Grigg said they were uninsured and set up a GoFundMe to “cover the costs.”
Taylor’s recent posts included a shopping expedition at Dollar Tree, an unboxing of clothes and other items, and a celebration of her 25th birthday. “I turn 25 this week because I got the strength to choose to live another day,” she wrote.
