NextImg:Social Media Reacts To Usha Vance's Greenland Visit
LOADINGERROR LOADING

Usha Vance’s planned visit to Greenland has a lot of people on social media seeing red.

The wife of Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to travel to the Danish territory Thursday with her son, while other senior Trump administration officials are set to arrive earlier in the week.

During her visit, Usha Vance is expected to visit historical sites and attend a major dogsled race known as the Avannaata Qimussersu.

But since the the second lady’s visit comes at a time when President Donald Trump is attempting to wrest away Greenland from Denmark, officials such as Prime Minister Múte Bourup Egede are slamming her trip, claiming it “can no longer be described as an innocent visit from a politician’s spouse.”

Folks on social media also had strong thoughts about the plans.

Some thought the visits seemed more like a prelude to invasion.

SERIOUS WARNING: JD Vance just hinted that Trump will invade and seize Greenland.

Note 3 MAGA officials are visiting this week separately. His wife, Usha Vance and the National Security Advisor Waltz are “visiting” at different times for different reasons.

Another diplomatic first (& not in a good way): the prime minister of Greenland calls a visit by the U.S. second lady and high level officials “highly aggressive”. Greenland and Denmark say they did not invite this U.S. delegation. https://t.co/cLSxDrTdcx

Something fishy about Usha Vance going to Greenland, uninvited. Hope trump doesn’t contrive an excuse to invade

Trumps move to send Walz and Usha Vance to “Visit” Greenland is another “in your face” demonstration. Add Vance’s comments in his Fox interview, absolutes insulting. Why do they think bullying is a viable Int’l relationship tactic?

Others wondered why Greenland would even allow Vance’s plane to land.

Maybe it’s just me, but Greenland should’ve blocked Usha Vance and her idiot group of bullies from landing and told them to head TF back especially since their citizens were furious about their arrival. Letting them in is capitulating to those who want to illegally seize you.

Hey Greenland, why are you letting Americas planes land there? Why don’t you deny Usha Vance and the crew landing clearance?Fight back now or don’t be shocked when you can’t

Note that Usha Vance is using her son as a human shield, just as Elon Musk has done several times

Usha Vance has no business showing up in Greenland as part of this provocative visit. It’s an insult to Greenland and to Denmark. They’re part of an alliance—not a territory up for annexation. Greenland should deny them landing rights and send them straight back home. pic.twitter.com/Q5BUr12vXw
