Sienna Miller wants to remind everyone that she’s not the first celebrity to have a kid later in life.
The British-American actor and early aughts fashion icon, 43, was asked about what it was like having a baby at 41 years old by Elle UK in an interview published Monday.
The “Layer Cake” star gave birth to a girl in 2024 with her boyfriend Oli Green, 28.
Miller’s baby with Green is her second child. She also shares a daughter Marlowe, 12, with actor Tom Sturridge.

In 2023, after news broke that she was pregnant at an older age, the “Factory Girl” star told Vogue’s podcast “The Run-Through” that she was getting a lot of hate from the public, who called her decision “irresponsible.”
In response to Elle UK’s very baity question about what it’s like having a baby over 40, Miller took a bite.
“I now have a 12-year-old [Marlowe] and a 14-month-old. I think there’s a whole load of noise and people have a lot to say and it’s incredibly gendered and unbelievably misogynistic and anti-feminist,” Miller said. “It’s insane. If your body is capable of it, have the baby. Have a wonderful baby.”
She also pointed out that having a baby later in life has its benefits.
“And by the way, I’m a better mother now, and it’s a much more grounded experience,” she said.
She then decided to call out two male celebrities who have also had babies later in life but don’t seem to receive the same level of criticism, at least according to Miller.
“No one has anything to say about — and I love these people, and they’re friends, which I like to name-drop — Al Pacino and Robert De Niro having kids in their 80s.”
Last year, De Niro spoke openly about having a kid at such a late stage in life.
“I don’t know where it’s going to go with her later when she gets older, but she’s thinking and she’s observing everything and watching,” he told AARP. “It’s really interesting. I want to be around for as long as I can to enjoy it [and] enjoy her.”
